Where can I see holiday light displays around Columbus?
There are a few places around town for an epic holiday lights display. From now until January 2 you can stop by the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium for the Wildlights festival. There are a number of attractions, including a few animated light shows and a reindeer encounter. And don’t miss out on The Polar Express 4D Experience!
The Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is also hosting a festive event from now until January by highlighting the beauty of the natural world with lights. The halls will be full of Insta-worthy holiday blooms including hundreds of poinsettias. Depending what day you go, you might catch some live musical entertainment.
Where can I watch a holiday show?
This year the fan-favorite The Nutcracker will be at The Ohio Theater through December 26. The show is produced by BalletMet Columbus and serves as the pinnacle of their shows each year. Have a bit of fun dressing up, settling into the theater, and watching a beloved Christmas story on stage.
In the mood for a rockin’ Christmas? Mark your calendar to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra perform Christmas Eve & Other Stories from their triple-platinum album. You can hear Christmas classics alongside the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s greatest hits on December 26 at the Nationwide Arena. It’s sure to be a night filled with holiday spirit and rock and roll.
